Reaching Out To Sisters with HIV/AIDS (ROSHA)
What is ROSHA?
ROSHA is a gender specific program for women infected with HIV to provide advocacy skills that impact care, mental health, substance abuse and other at risk factors that impact their lives.
What does ROSHA do?
The program first promotes self-advocacy in order to advance the dignity, quality of life, and quality of care of women and families infected/affected by HIV/AIDS.
What will you gain from ROSHA?
Women are encouraged to:
- become change agents;
- contact policy makers and elected officials to foster positive change;
- mobilize the community to speak out an important issues.
